The drama and action of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ was played out across 12 Host Cities.
The cities are Manaus in the north, the metropolis of the Amazon. Fortaleza, Natal, Recife and Salvador in the north-east, renowned for their tropical influences. In the central-west the modern capital of Brasília and Cuiabá nicknamed ‘Green City’. Porto Alegre and Curitiba in the south region add a European flavour and in the south-east, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with the latter hosting the Final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.
