Q. How long before kick-off will the hospitality areas open?

Hospitality areas’ opening and closing times are usually three (3) hours before kick-off and one (1) hour after the final whistle, except for the Opening and the Final where hospitality areas will open four (4) hours before kick-off and close one (1) hour after the final whistle. Subject to change without prior notice.

Q. What are the seating arrangements in the hospitality areas?

The seating configuration in each stadium and hospitality area will vary:

  • Pearl Lounge and MATCH Business Seat guests will have the opportunity to reserve a table. Depending on the size of the group the exact table reservation configuration, reservations will be subject to availability and confirmation.
  • MATCH Private Suite seating configurations will vary depending on the size and design layout of each suite.  
  • Open seating, which will be made available on a ‘first-come, first-served basis’, will apply in the MATCH Gallery Seat, MATCH Pavilion and MATCH Club hospitality areas, where there will be tables of varying sizes.

Q. How many people will each table in the hospitality area seat?

The table configuration in each stadium and hospitality area will vary:

  • Pearl Lounge and MATCH Business Seat guests will have the opportunity to reserve a table. The exact table configuration will depend on the size of the group and the hospitality area layout, reservations will be subject to availability and confirmation.
  • MATCH Private Suite seating configurations will vary depending on the size and table layout in each suite.  
  • Open seating, which will be made available on a ‘first- come, first- served basis’, will apply in the MATCH Gallery Seat, MATCH Pavilion and MATCH Club hospitality areas, where there will be tables of varying sizes.

Q. What type of entertainment is provided in the hospitality areas for customers?

Entertainment programmes will be confirmed nearer to the tournament but could include live bands, videos, games, artist performances etc. Entertainment may differ between stadiums and hospitality product levels.

Q. I have purchased a MATCH Business Seat / Pearl Lounge product and only want to have access to non-alcoholic drinks – will I be allocated a lounge with other customers who share my preference?

MATCH Business Seat / Pearl Lounges have a designated Family area, where only non-alcoholic beverages are available.  If you and your guests would prefer to be seated in the Family area, we ask that you confirm your preference in writing directly to 2022.customerservice@match-hospitality.com; all  requests remain subject to availability and further confirmation by MATCH Hospitality.

Q. I have purchased a MATCH Gallery Seat / MATCH Pavilion / MATCH Club product and only want to have access to non-alcoholic drinks – will I be allocated a lounge with other customers who share my preference?

MATCH Gallery Seat / MATCH Pavilion / MATCH Club Lounges have a designated Family area, where only non-alcoholic beverages are available. Please note that tables and seating in these areas will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis with no advanced reservations and space will be strictly subject to availability.

Q. I have purchased a MATCH Business Seat / Pearl Lounge product and some of my guests wish to be allocated space in the Family area – will it be possible for my other guests to be allocated space in the open lounge where alcohol is available?

Yes. Although access to the Family area will be strictly subject to availability, it will also be possible to request reserved seating in the communal lounge space. Please note MATCH Business Seat customers may only request reserved seating for groups of 8 or more (smaller groups will be sharing tables with other guests).

Q. I have purchased MATCH Gallery Seat / MATCH Pavilion / MATCH Club product and some of my guests wish to be allocated in the Family area – will it be possible for others to be allocated space in the open lounge where alcohol is available?

Yes. Although access to the Family area will be strictly subject to availability, all guests will have full access to the communal lounge space, with seating available subject to availability on the day.

Q. What solutions can you offer me if there is no availability to locate me in the family area?

If there is no availability in the family area, our helpful hosting team will be on hand to direct you to the communal lounge space, with seating available subject to availability on the day.

Q. Will I be able to see other customers in the open area of the lounge consuming alcohol from my position in the family area?

Although Family areas will be segregated and access restricted, they will be located within a shared hospitality lounge; therefore, although alcohol will not be served within the Family area, we cannot guarantee that you will not be able to see other guests consuming alcohol in the communal lounge area which is located outside of the Family area.

Q. Will alcohol be served and/or permitted in the hospitality areas of the stadium?

Yes. Guests will be able to access both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the hospitality areas of the stadium.

Q. If my preference is to be allocated space in the family area of the lounge, will I also be allocated seats in the stadium next to other customers with the same preference?

Your seats will be allocated in the applicable area specified in the product descriptions. MATCH Hospitality cannot guarantee that you will be allocated seats in the stadium next to other customers with the same preference.  

Q. I hear that the stadiums are still under construction. What happens if the location or size of the private suite I have purchased changes?

If a customer purchases a MATCH Private Suite and the capacity or location of the suite must be changed for any reason, MATCH Hospitality will endeavour to notify the customer as soon as possible.  If a change in size or location of the suite results in an increase or decrease in the price, the price payable may be subject to a corresponding increase or reduction. All pricing updates will be calculated according to published rates.  In the event of any reduction, MATCH Hospitality will credit the price difference to the customer. Should there be an increase in price, the customer will be given the option to cancel the purchase and request a refund in accordance with Hospitality Sales Regulations OR be invoiced the additional amount.
