Sydney Football Stadium

A shining light of sustainability

One of the newest stadiums in the country, this was the first major purpose-built rectangular stadium in the city. Starting from a fresh start like this meant the architects could build both bold design and smart, sustainable features into the design. The ‘bioframe’ is the unique domed façade that lets in natural light while covering most of the seating. It will host four Group Matches and two Round of 16 matches for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™.
